Dr Rafael Iribarren is an Ophthalmologist specialising in refractive errors, with a keen interest in improving the understanding of the principal causes of need for refractive correction (myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia).
 

Rafael has performed prevalence studies of refractive error in Argentina, and has collaborated in the calculation of crystalline lens power for studies in countries around the world (Norway, China, Singapore, USA, India and Iran). He hass been following both clinical and basic research on myopia for the last 20 years, and has begun treatment of progressive myopia in children and adolescents, using dilute atropine drops.

Professor Pei-Chang Wu is director of Myopia Treatment and Prevention Center (Department of Ophthalmology, Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital), professor at Chang Gung University, supervisor of the Ophthalmological Society of Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), director of Taiwan Retina Society (Chinese Taipei), consultant for Health Promotion Administration in Ministry of Health and Welfare K-12 Education Administration in Ministry of Education), and principal investigator Taiwan Schoolchildren Vision Care Program in Ministry of Education (Chinese Taipei).

Professor Pei-Chang obtained his Doctor of Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical College, and completed his PhD at the Graduate Institute of Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University.

Moatez Billah MEKKI, MD, ophthalmologist, anterior segment and glaucoma surgeon, and contact lens specialist especially in the irregular cornea.

Co-founder of Ibn Al Haythem Center in Algiers in 2007, the referenced center in Algeria, has become a training center since 2015.

Lecturer at the medical universities of Algiers, Tunis, and Rabat in contact lenses for ophthalmologists and residents.

Trainer of Optometry Master Student from the University of Oran and Sétif since 2016.

Author and Co-author of several articles in ophthalmology in scleral lenses, orthokeratology, cornea, and artificial intelligence.
